Sunflower Foundation is excited to announce the latest addition to our team, Emily Wolf, who recently started in her new role as grants and finance manager.
In that role, Wolf will be responsible for monitoring all aspects of the organization’s grantmaking processes and will work closely with foundation leadership, staff and grantees to promote and apply best practices for effective grantmaking. She also will assist the chief financial officer in the management of the foundation’s financial activities.
Wolf, of Topeka, brings extensive grant management experience to her new role, having most recently served as grants manager for Victim Services in the Office of the Kansas Attorney General, where she analyzed statewide grant work specific to community and social services. She also previously served as grants manager and interim finance director for the YWCA Northeast Kansas and as a program manager and grants manager for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, where she oversaw grants and other work related to public health preparedness.
A native of Topeka, Wolf has a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Washburn University in Topeka, and she is working toward a Master of Criminal Justice at Washburn.
