As Kansas Fights Addiction program manager, Jasmine Ortega supports Sunflower’s KFA work in the areas of grant management and program development, assisting with due diligence, research, convenings, special projects, and administrative tasks.
Prior to joining the foundation in July 2026, Jasmine worked for CKF Addiction Treatment as a contracted substance use disorder (SUD) coordinator at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kan. In that role, she coordinated with multidisciplinary teams throughout the hospital and with outside agencies to provide holistic care to patients, offering assistance with emotional support, resources, and referrals. She also previously worked as a social worker at Stormont Vail Hospital.
She earned a Bachelor of Social Work, then later earned master’s degrees in Social Work and Business Administration, all from Washburn University.
