From that first contact with a prospective donor, to cultivating the relationship, to securing a long-term partnership, donor development is critical to a nonprofit’s success and sustainability. However, many organizations lack the resources and technical assistance to strategically manage this process and maximize its impact.
In our efforts to forge a stronger nonprofit sector in Kansas, Sunflower Foundation, with partners, is offering The Dynamics of Donor Development virtual learning series. This free opportunity is geared toward any Kansas nonprofit interested in learning more about cultivating support.
The five-part series will include sessions on creating a culture of philanthropy, making your organization’s case for support, donor advised funds, how to approach discovery conversations, corporate giving and prospective donor research. Certified Fundraising Executives Brad Cecil and Vickie Mathews, of the full-service fundraising agency Brad Cecil & Associates in Arlington, Texas, will lead each session.
Pre-registration for each session is required. You may sign up for any, or all, of the 75-minute sessions. Can’t make it live? Recordings will be available for those who have registered.
