
Sunflower Foundation is collaborating with Hunger Free Kansas and the Kansas Food Action Network on a new monthly virtual learning series, Foundations of Food is Medicine, which will focus on the role local food systems can play in FIM models and interventions.
The 10-session series will bring together food system leaders, health professionals, community partners, and national experts to explore how nutritious food can – and does – integrate into healthcare.
The first session, Foundations of Food is Medicine, is scheduled for 1 p.m. CST Wednesday, Oct. 29.
